[News from News Center] From Sep.16thto 18th, 2017 National Sailboard Clubs League, which is also Qinhuangdao International Regatta, was started at Beidaihe. Two teams formed by YSU and Sea Dream Aquatics Center, after 3-day heated race, ranked 2ndand 4thin FE26 Group respectively.
YSU players
The two teams---Sea Dream-YSU One and Sea Dream-YSU Two consisted of YSU students. It was not easy for them to obtain such a good result after only one-month training. The teams were led by Dean of School of Physical Education Dapeng Wang and Party Secretary Zhongwei Jiang, and coached by teachers Xiaojun Wang and Weibo Liu. The Regatta was sponsored by Chinese Yachting Association, Hebei Province Sports Bureau, and QinhuangdaoMunicipal People’s Government, leaders from General Administration of Sport of China, and relevant departments of Hebei Province and Qinhuangdao City attended the opening ceremony.

This regatta attracted 40 sailing teams from Beijing, Tianjin, Shanghai, Qinhuangdao and other cities. Among them, RE28R Group was a regatta of the largest scale (30 sailboats) and higher standards in China.
