HBCPC, as an annual academic competition composed of an undergraduate group and a professional one, follows the rules and organization models of the ACM International Collegiate Programming Contest and China Collegiate Programming Contest: each team is required to solve 12 programming problems in the 5-hour race, and the results are measured and ranked by the machine in real time according to the number of correct answers. HBCPC is designed to improve the ability of college students to innovate and solve practical problems, and find excellent computer talents through the contest, which can promote teaching, stimulate the learning, spur reform and stimulate innovation by competition, thus leading and improving the program design teaching reform and talent training in our province. 2017 HBCPC attracted a total of 230 teams from 38 universities and colleges in Hebei Province and nearly 10 universities and colleges in other provinces.
