[News from News Center] On Oct. 28th, directed by Hebei Planning Office of Philosophy and Social Science, sponsored by China Association of Labor Economics, and hosted by Hebei New Think Tank Hebei-Public Policy Evaluation and Research Center, National Seminar on Theoretical Development and Academic Communication of Labor Economics & 3rd Public Policy Think Tank Seminar for the Construction of Xiongan New Area was inaugurated at YSU Humanity Building. Prof. Yongsheng Zhao, YSU Vice President, attended and addressed the ceremony.
Prof. Xiangbing Liu, Vice President of China Association of Labor Economics and President of China Institute of Industrial Relations, was invited to give a speech on the theme of the seminar. Besides, more than 100 scholars and leaders from institutions, universities, and research institutes attended the seminar, including General Office of the People’s Government of Hebei Province, Qinhuangdao Municipal Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, Qinhuangdao Federation of Social Science Circles, Nanjing University, Sichuan University, Beijing Jiaotong University, University of International Business and Economics, China Institute of Industrial Relations, Dongbei University of Finance and Economics, and Hebei University Of Engineering.

Themed by “Research on Labor, Labor Economics and the Theoretical Research of Labor Economics in the Construction of the Xiongan New Area”, the seminar focused on the theoretical research of Labor Economics, the training of young scholars, the collaborative innovation and practice innovation of the research on the Labor Economics in the Xiongan New Area, and the innovation strategies of academic journals as well as the cooperative development of theory researchers and periodicals, and other hot issues.
After the seminar, experts and scholars visit the Xiongan New Area focusing on the theme of this seminar.
