[News from News Center] From Nov. 7thto 11th, the 19thSession of China International Industry Fair (the 19thCIIF) was held at National Exhibition and Convention Center (Shanghai). Nine scientific and technological achievements of YSU represented by the “Entire Roller Intelligent Shape Control System” were exhibited at the 19thCIIF. Among them, “Connecting pieces for Ultra-high Pressure Pump Valve and Pipe”, “Energy-storage Vertical Axis Hydrostatic Drive Train for Wind Turbines”, “Packaged Technology of Special Timing Screw”, and “Intelligent Care Robot System” and other projects were exhibited in kind and in model. “Packaged Technology of Special Timing Screw” was awarded the Second Prize of Excellent Exhibit for University, and YSU was awarded “Excellent Organization Award for University”.

Themed by “Innovative, Intelligent, and Green Development”, the 19thCIIF set a total of 9 major professional exhibition areas, covering 280,000 square meters. With “intelligent manufacturing, green production, high-end equipment and innovative technology” as the main line, the 19thCIIF focused on the key development fields of the strategy “Made in China 2025”, committed to expanding the industrial space, and showed the latest achievements of intelligent manufacturing. The scale of fair and the number of professional audiences reached a record high, attracting more than 160,000 professional audiences home and abroad.
The CIIF is jointly sponsored by Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, National Development and Reform Commission, Ministry of Commerce, Ministry of Science and Technology, Chinese Academy of Sciences, Chinese Academy of Engineering and other ministries and commissions and Shanghai Municipal Peoples Government. Led by the technology Transfer Center, relevant scientific research teams from YSU attended the fair. At the fair, Some YSU projects reached a preliminary cooperation intention with related enterprises. The 19thCIIF played a great role in enhancing the visibility of YSU, promoting the transformation of scientific and technological achievements, and pushing forward the transfer of technology. More than 740 scientific and technological achievements from 68 colleges and universities including Tsinghua University, Peking University, Fudan University, Shanghai Jiaotong University, Nankai University were exhibited at the fair.
