[News from News Center] On Nov. 14th, the Annual Conference of Chinese Mechanical Engineering Society was held in Jinan, Shandong Province. The project “Innovative Design and Engineering Application of Electromechanical Fluids for Large-Scale Engineering Transport Vehicles” by Jingyi Zhao’s team and “Construction and Industrial Application of Kinetic Model System for Stable Operation of High-Speed Strip Rolling Mill” by Yan Peng’s team from YSU School of Mechanical Engineering, and “Dynamic High-Reliability Design and Service Self-Support Technology of Long-Life Space Mechanism and Its Application” by Riping Liu’s team from School of Materials Science and Engineering were awarded the First Prize.
In 2017, YSU selected 5 projects to apply for China Mechanical Industry Science & Technology Award. After the formal examination, expert review, general comment and defence, 4 achievements won the Award containing 3 First Prize and 1 Third Prize.
It is reported that 398 scientific achievements were honored 2017 China Mechanical Industry Science & Technology Award: 3 Outstanding Award, 46 First Prize, 132 Second Prize and 217 Third Prize.
