A delegation from Shouqin Company visits YSU

[News from the news center] On the afternoon of May 23, a delegation led by Jiang Dongcai, Director of the Shougang Corporation's Shouqin Transformation Office visited YSU. Kong Xiangdong, Vice President of YSU, met with visitors at the first reception room on the 21st floor of the Century Building. Related personnel from the School of Economics and Management, the School of Physical Education, Liren College, theSchool of Continuing Education, and the Technology Transfer Center attended the forum.

Jiang Dongcai first introduced the company's basic situation, transformation orientation and development strategy. He noted that YSU has distinctive characteristics and high quality teaching and research. He hoped to conduct in-depth cooperation with YSU in areas of motor sports, personnel training of event service and social practice. Kong Xiangdong expressed his welcome to Shouqin's visit and stated that YSU would actively support and coordinate with the company's transformation and development. It is hoped that Shouqin will further refine the specific needs and formulate a detailed plan so that the two parties can further communication and achieve win-win cooperation. Subsequently, the two sides conducted in-depth exchanges on specific cooperation issues.

The Shouqin Company is a branch of Shougang Group and is an iron and steel conglomerate that produces 2.6 million tons of steel and 1.8 million tons of thick steel plates annually. The company is located in Duzhuang Town, Haigang District. It is situated in the important transit point linking mountain, city and sea. In response to the country's national scheme, in accordance with the requirements for iron and steel production capacity, the company stopped production and started transformation in July 2018. The transformation was aimed at integrating urban functions and development plans. It utilized industrial legacy and resource endowments, with the theme of “car culture” and the development of the automotive aftermarket as the main line building a one-stop, full-coverage domestic best aftermarket system.
