[News from the News Center] Recently, the 8th National College Student E-Commerce "Innovation, Creativity and Entrepreneurship" Challenge Finals (hereinafter referred to as E-Commerce Competition) was held at Shanxi Taiyuan University of Technology. After rounds of reviews and selections, more than 200 participating teams from more than 30 colleges and universities in 31 provinces, autonomous districts and Hong Kong have entered the final challenge session.
After fierce competition, the project team sent by YSU School of Economics and Management won a first prize, three second prizes, and seven third prizes. The “Ding Ling Ling” technology team (instructor Li Binbin) won the National First Prize, the “7-1” team (instructor Zhang Yaming), the “Winner” team (instructor Li Binbin), and the “Qinghuan Forest” team (instructor Liu Haiou) won the National Second Prize. In addition, the “Ding Ling Ling” team also won the Best Creative Award and the Best Innovation Award, which was the best results of our university has received in the past years, and achieved the breakthrough in the national A-class competition.

As an important part of the practice of innovation and entrepreneurship education in the School of Economics and Management, E-Commerce Competition has been highly valued and supported by the leaders of the College. A total of more than 600 teachers and students from 114 teams in our school participated in the competition. The Department of Electronic Commerce of the School of Economics and Management also encouraged all professional teachers to provide professional and systematic guidance and training on the entries, which greatly improved the quality of the entries.
The E-Commerce Competition is a national-level first-class competition recognized by our university. It is a disciplinary competition that stimulates students' interest and potential, and cultivates students' innovative consciousness, creative thinking, entrepreneurial ability and team spirit. The competition was organized by the Higher Education E-Commerce Professional Teaching Guidance Committee, the theme of the competition involves e-commerce, e-commerce logistics, mobile e-commerce, cross-border e-commerce, internet finance, campus e-commerce, tourism e-commerce, Kang Yang e-commerce among others. In this competition, more than 40,000 teams nationwide participated in the competition, which was twice that in 2017. Its increasing influence makes the competition much fierce.
