[News from the News Center] From July 27thto 29th, the 4thHebei Province College Student “Internet Plus” Innovation Entrepreneurship Competition was held at Agricultural University of Hebei, involving 32 thousand projects from 78 universities and colleges in Hebei Province. YSU won 5 gold awards and 8 silver awards.

This competition was divided into 4 groups and 3 rounds. After the first round, 956 projects entered the online evaluation and 80 projects entered the final defense session. After intense competition and review, 30 gold awards and 50 silver awards were elected. 13 YSUprojects (including 3 from Liren College) reached the provincial competition, and, finally, won 5 gold awards and 8 silver awards.
For recent years, YSU has been closely focusing on training innovative and entrepreneurial talents, strengthening students’ creative thinking, innovative spirit and entrepreneurial ability, and exploring new mode of cultivation. Under the guide of related Schools,offices and departments, Academic Affairs Officehas performed well in the improving the credit system, practice, competition of innovation and entrepreneurship educationthrough continuous efforts, and has led the student team to make fruitful achievements in many innovation entrepreneurship competitions at home and abroad.
Next year, YSU will host the 5thHebei Province College Student “Internet Plus” Innovation Entrepreneurship Competition.
