YSU wins awards in the China Visualization and Visual Analysis Challenge

[News from the News Center] From July 25 to 28, the 5th China Visualization and Visual Analysis Conference (ChinaVis 2018) was held in Shanghai East China Normal University. As an important part of the conference, the “Data Visual Analysis Challenge” award ceremony was held during the same period of the conference. In this competition, two graduate teams formed by the “Data Visualization and Visual Analysis Research Office” of YSU School of Information Science and Engineering participated in the competition, and finally won the second prize and the excellent prize.

The China Visualization and Visual Analysis Conference (ChinaVis) is sponsored by the Institute of Image and Graphics of the Chinese Computer Society to promote the exchange of visual and visual analysis research and applications in China and related countries, and to explore visualization and visualization in the era of big data. The competition aims to explore the trend and opportunities of analysis and development, promote the development and progress of related research and application, and promote talent cultivation and exchange. The Data Visual Analysis Challenge is an important part of the conference and is hosted by the Visualization and Visual Analysis Professional Committee. In addition to the challenge, the conference includes invited reports, paper reports, posters, exhibitions, and seminars. It also invites well-known experts in the field of visualization at home and abroad to make a conference report on the latest developments in related research and application, and the development trends.
