[News from the News Center] From September 19-23, the 20th China International Industry Fair (CIIF) was held at the Shanghai National Convention and Exhibition Center. YSU team led by the leader of the Technology Transfer Center participated in the exhibition. YSU’s project “Ultra High Pressure Hydraulic System” won the Second Prize for Excellent Exhibitions in University Exhibition Areas, and Zheng Haiwu from the Technology Transfer Center, was awarded the title of Advanced Individual.

With the theme of “Innovation, Intelligence and Green”, this year's Industry Fair has 8 professional exhibition areas with an exhibition area of 280,000 square meters, covering the intelligent green manufacturing industry chain from basic materials, key components to advanced manufacturing equipment and overall solutions in manufacturing industry. There are 2,631 exhibitors from 27 countries and regions in the exhibition. There are more than 750 scientific and technological projects from 69 universities including Tsinghua University, Peking University, Fudan University, Shanghai Jiaotong University and Nankai University. CIIF attracted a total of more than 174,000 professional visitors from home and abroad, which had the largest number of visitors in the history.
CIIF is an exhibition jointly sponsored by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the National Development and Reform Commission, the Ministry of Commerce, the Ministry of Science and Technology, the Chinese Academy of Sciences, the Chinese Academy of Engineering, the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade, the United Nations Industrial Development Organization and the Shanghai Municipal Government. During the exhibition, some of YSU’ projects attracted and reached preliminary cooperation agreements with related companies. This exhibition has greatly promoted the popularity of YSU and the transfer of technology in our university.
