[News from the News Center] On the afternoon of October 25, the2nd YSU International Exchange and Overseas Study Project Exhibitionwas heldin theStudent Activity Center,East Campus,with the theme of “Hugging the World, Flying Dreams”. The exhibition was hosted by YSU International Cooperation Division and organized by YSU International Education Exchange Center. Many universities around the world took part in the exhibition, such as the University of Illinois at Chicago, University of Edinburgh, University of Hertfordshire, Greenwich University, London South Bank University, Hoover Hanton University among other world-renowned universities and educational institutions such as the International Education Association, Qinghua Education (UK), and the American Association for International Education Exchange, Wanwei Ruixin, were invited to participate. More than 2,000 teachers and students from the university visited the exhibition.

The Director of the International Cooperation Division, Teng Guosheng, delivered a speech at the opening ceremony. He said that with the continuous implementation of the “One Belt and One Road” strategy and the continued development of the “Double first-class” construction of the university, the state has an increasing demand for the quality of university. In recent years, our university has promoted the service of internationalization for teachers and students to study abroad. Our university encourages teachers and students to broaden their horizons and actively takes measures to gain opportunities, which helped increasing number of students and faculty and staff to study abroad.

This international exchange and study abroad project exhibition aims to further create an internationalization atmosphere on the campus, promote the internationalization work, provide diversified choices for the development of teachers and students, and provide an opportunity for overseas universities to demonstrate their strength and quality education.
