[News from the News Center] On November 2, 2018 Co-construction Mode Minister Exchange Summit was held in Room 209, Student Activity Center, East Campus, YSU. This summit was hosted by the Yiban Development Center of the Ministry of Education and organized by YSU. More than 270 academic ministers and Yiban instructors from over 180 colleges and universities across the country attended the event. Zhu Minglun, Director of the Yiban Development Center of the Ministry of Education, Shi Mingjie, CEO of Jiangsu Jinzhi Education Information Co., Ltd., and Wang Baocheng, Standing Committee Memberof the CPC YSU Committee, attended this event.

Wang Baocheng delivered a welcome speech on behalf of YSU. He gave a general introduction of YSU, the development of the Yiban Development Research Center (Hebei higher educational institutions) since its establishment, and the work and operation of YSU Yiban. He pointed out the work for the next stage of YSU’s Yiban Development Research Center and hoped that YSU would strive to build YSU Yiban into an effective platform for college students’ development.

Zhu Minglun made work arrangements for the next step in the national Yiban summit. He deployed key tasks in the three aspects and he hoped that the Yiban alliance universities could develop into a network interactive community engaging in spreading goodness.

Subsequently, under the witness of Zhu Minglun, Wang Baocheng and Shi Mingjie, the Ministry of Education’s Yiban Development Center issued a cooperation authorization to Jinzhi Education. The “Yiban” and “Today Campus” APP will achieve deep integration and innovation atYSU.

After the exchange seminar, Chan Jia, Deputy Director of YSU Student Affairs Office shared some experiences accumulated in the construction work in “Yanshan University Yiban Construction Innovation Model”. Zhang Yongran, Deputy Director of the China University of Political Science and Law and Zhou Xiang, Director of Chaohu College both shared their working experiences related to Yiban development in their university or college.
Since the establishment of the Yiban Development Research Center at YSU in January 2018, YSU has formulated the “Implementation Plan for the Construction of Yanban University Yiban”, set up a two-level Leadership for Yiban Construction among other regulations and working plans. At present, a total of 51,000 teachers and students’ information have been input into the system, and a series of training programs were organized.
In the future, YSU Yiban Development Research Center will further integrate various high-quality educational resources inside and outside of YSU, caring for students’ psychological development. YSU will spare no effort to build Yiban into a comprehensive service platform serving for YSU students.
