[News from the News Center] On Nov. 29, YSU Library held activities for overseas students -- appreciation and analysis of Chinese literature and films (I) in order to stimulate their interest in Chinese literature and cultural connotation. More than 30 students and teachers from School of International Exchange, YSU students and library staff participated in the activity.

The activity started with the wonderful Erhu performance “Horse Racing”. Students of the library management union recommended the original literary novel “Bullet Mark” to the audience when sharing the wonderful pieces of the film “Wolf Warriors II”, and they introduced four classic novels of Chinese literature through games. Finally, the activity ended in the experience of Chinese traditional sugar art.
YSU Library has provided special services and activities for international students, including “Pakistani students are coming”, “YSU witnesses China-Pakistan friendship”, Chinese traditional culture display, experience of Pakistani culture, the first “Chinese Poetry” international student recitation competition, and appreciation of Chinese literature and films (I). All these activities are rich in content and diverse in form, with the library as a platform, to create an international atmosphere, which contributes to spreading Chinese traditional culture, to improving the Chinese language and literary attainments foreign students, to promoting international humanities service innovation, and to enhancing the internationalization of YSU.
