[News from the News Center] Recently, Ministry of Science and Technology released the preliminary list of 2018 innovative talent promotion program, and YSU innovative education demonstration base is on the list.
After the application and recommendation, formal examination and expert review, the 2018 Innovative Talent Promotion Program has selected 306 young and middle-aged leading talents in scientific and technological innovation, 50 innovation teamsin key fields, 200 scientific and technological innovative and entrepreneurial talents and 32 innovative talenttraining demonstration bases.
YSU attached great importance to the application of the innovative talent training demonstration base. President Liu Hongmin has repeatedly made important instructions and presided over the seminar and participated in the defense session. Under the leadership of the Science and Technology Research Institute, application materials for innovative talent training base with cooperation of the Academic Affairs Office, the Graduate School, the Personnel Office and Higher Education Development Research Center and other departments. Through the recommendation of the Science and Technology Department of Hebei Province, the formal examination,video defense and expert revieworganizedby the Ministry of Science and Technology, YSU was finally selected for its unique characteristics and outstanding achievements in terms of innovation development.
According to National Innovative Talent Promotion Plan, the innovative talent training demonstration base that has been selected can directly recommend the young and middle-aged leading talents inscience and technology innovation, the scientific and technological innovative and entrepreneurial talents, and the innovation teams in key fields. This selection will provide strong support for building YSU into a “Double First-rate” university, further implement the strategy of strengthening the university through talents, form a high-level faculty and research team, and provide guarantee for the sustainable development of YSU.
