The general Labor Union shared the advanced deeds of outstanding female workers’ representatives elected by 20 Labor Unionbranches at the Century Building. Around the theme of “family education, family tradition and family precepts”, essay-writing activities were carried out to strengthen the construction of family culture, and to promote a good family style. On behalf of YSU, Li Jing, teacher from the School of Foreign Studies participated in the speech activity “inherit good family traditions and pursue dream in a new era” organized by the Qinhuangdao Municipal Women’s Federation. Her speech was full of positive energy, which deeply touchedthe audience.

All Labor Unions of each school have also carried out various activities. School of Mechanical Engineering, School of Information Science and Engineering and School of Economics and Management held special lectures on women’s knowledge, which have greatly benefited the female teachers. School of Marxism, School of Science, Liren College, School of Humanities and Law and School of Foreign Studies held thematic flower arranging activities, tie dyeing and hand-making, which enriched the spiritual life of female teachers and added a happy atmosphere to the festival. School of Continuing Education, the Logistics Group, the Library and the Institute of Physical Education held interesting activities. School of Materials Science and Engineering and the School of Civil Engineering and Mechanics organized outdoor activities for female teaching staff, which strengthened exchanges among them and relaxed their bodies and minds.
With distinct themes, novel forms and rich contents, these activities enriched female teaching staff with aesthetic knowledge and enhanced their charm. In a relaxed and pleasant atmosphere, everyone has felt the care and love of the school.
