The ranking covers 136 universities, and Yanshan University is #67 among colleges and universities nationwide.
The competitiveness evaluation system includes four first-level indicators, 13 second-level indicators, and 31 third-level indicators. The primary indicators include school capacity (15%), science and education output (35%), quality and level (35%), and school influence (15%).
