Liu Hongmin, President of Yanshan University, Vice President Kong Xiangdong, and other directors of Science and Technology Research Institute, School of Mechanical Engineering, National Engineering Research Center for Equipment and Technology of C.S.R., National & Local Joint Engineering Research Center for Advanced Manufacture Forming Technology and Equipment, and Library met with the guests and held a symposium in the first reception room of the Century Building.
Liu Hongmin warmly welcomed the leaders of the association and introduced YSU development. In particular, he introduced the important scientific and technological achievements made by the university in the field of heavy machinery in the past year. Subsequently, the Director of YSU library introduced the relevant situation and the database of the YSU’s “heavy mechanical digital library”. Li Jing said that Yanshan University, as an “old friend” of the association, has always strongly supported the association. YSU has seen enormous development in the past two years, the software and hardware conditions have been continuously improved, and the scientific research has been significantly improved. It is hoped that YSU will continue to cooperate with the association and play an important role in guiding the development of the industry, making government decisions and attracting business investment in the field of heavy machinery. Subsequently, the two sides had discussions on the special investigation on the status and development trend of metallurgical rolling equipment and the preparatory work for the “Forum of Metallurgy and Mining Industry” to be held this year.
