Xiang Gangqiang (general manager of precision machiningbusiness division of Guangdong Monte-Bianco NewMaterial co., Ltd, general manager of Meishan Monte-Bianco New Material Technology co., Ltd, and YSU 1995 alumnus), Zhang Mingli (Director of YSU Student Affairs Office, and Director of YSU Student Financial Aid Center), Wang Limin (Dean of School of Materials Science and Engineering), Wang Liping (Party Secretary of School of Materials Science and Engineering), Li Wei (Deputy dean of School of Materials Science and Engineering) and Wen Fusheng (Deputy dean of School of Materials Science and Engineering) attended the ceremony, which was presided over by Yuan Yungang, Deputy Party Secretary and Deputy dean of School of Materials Science and Engineering.

Wang Limin delivered a speech at the meeting. He expressed his warm welcome to the representatives of Guangdong Monte-Bianco and thanked them for their strong support to the university in recent years. At the same time, the School of Materials Science and Engineering has been committed to cultivating high-quality talents for the country. He detailed some deeds of several award-winning students, who made their own contributions to the prosperity and rejuvenation of the country with craftsmanship spirits. Later, Li Wei announced the list of the “Monte-Bianco Education and Teaching Scholarship”, and the leaders presented awards to the representatives of the eminent students. Jiang Haojie and Wang Limin delivered their speeches on behalf of the winners of “excellent student cadre” and “excellent student innovation achievement” respectively. Finally, Xiang Gangqiang gave a speech on behalf of Guangdong Monte-Bianco. Xiang introduced in detail the company’s overall development, and affirmed the achievements of the industry-university-research cooperation with YSU. As an alumnus, he extended his sincere gratitude to the cultivation fromthe university and his teachersand was very honored and proud to witness the flourishing development of his alma mater. “Monte-Bianco Education and Teaching Scholarship” is a scholarship for YSU School of Materials Science and Engineering, which was set up between Guangdong Monte-Bianco and YSU in March, 2015, after signing a comprehensive strategic cooperation agreement. The scholarship concludes four awards:excellent student cadre award, excellentstudent innovation achievement award, excellentstudent social activity award, and excellentyoung teacher award.
