[News from the News Center] On April 25, sponsored by the Hebei Provincial Committee of the Communist Youth League, organized by the Hebei Provincial Student Union, the Communist Youth League Handan Committee, and Handan University, the “Yanzhao Youth” college students’ speech contest themed “New Era, New Youth, New Responsibility and New Roles” held in the lecture hall of the Academic Exchange Center of Handan University. YSU student Du Xiaojian from theSchool of Humanities and Law won the third prize, andthe CYLYSU Committee also won the Outstanding Organization Award.
“Yanzhao Youth” college students’ speech contest has attracted students from all the universities in Hebei province since the start of the competition in March. A total of 72 colleges and universities attended the semi-finals, and finally 12 players attended the final competition. YSU student Du Xiaojian expressed his patriotic feelings, ideals and sincere emotions for the revolutionary martyrs with his work “burning patriotic fire”.
