[News from the News Center] On the morning of May 10, the 2019 spring the former MOME-the Seven Universities Employment Alliance Work Exchange Seminar was held in our university. The leaders and directors of Employment departments from the full league member universities:Xi’an University of Technology, Henan University of Science and Technology, Taiyuan University of Science and Technology, Shenyang University of Technology, Harbin University of Science and Technology, Yanshan Univeristy, andother alliance observer universities:Lanzhou University of Technology, Jiangsu University, and the University of Shanghai for Science and Technology attended the seminar.Zhao Xianfeng,Secretary of the CPC Yanshan University Committee, Zhao Dingxuan,Standing Committee Memberof the CPC YSU Committeeand YSU Vice President, attended the meeting. The meeting was presided over by Yi Junpeng, Secretary General of the Alliance and Director of the Admissions and Employment Division of Henan University of Science and Technology.

On behalf of YSU Party Committee and the teachers and students, Zhao Xianfeng expressed warm welcome and his heartfelt gratitude to the leaders and teachers of the alliance universities for their strong support for YSU's development.
After a brief introduction to the development of YSU, Zhao Xianfeng pointed out that the league universities have common experiences and have undergone a variety of reforms and changes in respective developments, we have always maintained close communication and contact, and bear our initial intentions in minds. We have educated a large number of outstanding graduates and provided our society with quality graduates, which met the needs of our country's strategic development. In the report of the 19th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, General Secretary Xi Jinping pointed out that employment is the biggest livelihood. It is of great significance for everyone to jointly discuss the employment of graduates. YSU has attached great importance to the employment and career development work, and always adheres to the employment concept of “Expanding the market, guiding, and involving all”, effectively strengthening the employment and entrepreneurship guidance curriculum and the construction of specialized teachers, and actively guiding graduates to value the direction of our country’s development, and strive to make greater contributions to the country and society.

Liu Cuirong, theStanding Committee Memberof the CPC Committee ofTaiyuan University of Science and Technology and Vice President, delivered a speech on behalf of the Alliance. She summed up the remarkable achievements we have achieved since the establishment of the alliance. First, the Alliance has always adhered to the principle of mutual cooperation and benefits, focusing on graduates’ employment. The effective practice has a positive role in promoting the employment and entrepreneurship of college students. Second, the alliance closely combined with the guidance of the employment and enrollment plan and personnel training proposed by the Ministry of Education, effectively promoted the improvement of higher quality. She put forward some suggestions for the next move of the development of the alliance.
