The laboratories or engineering centers participating in this activity mainly includeNational Engineering Research Center for Equipment and Technology of C.S.R.,National & Local Joint Engineering Research Center for Advanced Manufacture Forming Technology and Equipment,Hebei Key Laboratory of Heavy Machinery Fluid Power Transmission and Control, Hebei Heavy Intelligent Manufacturing Equipment Technology Innovation Center, and Hebei Parallel Robot and Electromechanical System Laboratory.
This open day event set up high-end precision machine tools, 3D printing, nano-machining, cold-rolled strip processing equipment, Heavy forging hydraulic pressure machine, intelligent robot products, hydraulic and pneumatic transmission, numerical simulation, virtual driving, medical and wellness equipment, There are 27 theme open exhibition areas in various fields.

According to statistics, during the opening day of the event, more than 3,000 visitors from inside and outside of the university were received. They are teachers and students from YSU and other universities, or engineering and technical technicians in related industries, enterprises and institutions, primary and secondary school students and preschool children.
The mechanical engineering is the national key discipline at the first-level of our university. It is the only Class A discipline in Hebei Province in the fourth round of disciplinary assessment. The open-day event aims to show and publicize the teaching and research platform construction of the mechanical engineering discipline of our school.
