YSU holds the 2019 graduation commemorative present and the 3rd “Most beautiful notes” donation ceremony

[News from the News Center] On May 27, at 15:00, the 2019 graduation commemorative present and the 3rd “Most beautiful notes” donation ceremony were held in the hall of the first floor of the library. Ren Jiadong, YSU Vice President, Cai Xingzhou, Director of Student Affairs, Wang Hongbin, Dean of Liren College, Helian Huawei, Director of Archives, and members of the library leadership attended the ceremony. The leaders and the top two students who borrowed most books and the students who donated the "Most Beautiful Notes" to recapture the stories of Yanshan University and the library, and witnessed a period of beauty together. The ceremony was presided over by Li Huijian, the librarian.

“Reading method, step by step, proficient and thoughtful”, Ren Jiadong sent messages to graduates and students. He hoped that this folder of youth commemoration, which bears the footprints of students’ four years hard work in the library, could arouse everybody’s happy reading time, stimulate reading enthusiasm, and blossom youthful demeanor. At the same time, he expressed his heartfelt admiration for Yan University students’ respect and pursuit of knowledge, and encouraged the students to take the winners of the “Best Notes” as an example to develop a good study habit of perseverance.

With the commemoration of the graduation in 2019, the work of distributing the graduation folder to all the graduates of the 2019 started on May 28.

Graduation commemoration folders and “Best Notes” donation collection activities were held in the hope that the majority of students can nourish rich cultural accumulation in the flowing campus culture, cultivate their moral character, and improve the skills and shoulder the responsibility of the times. May this little folder and course notes recording the footprints of struggles inspire students to embellish their youth with accumulated reading in the new era and depict their progress with pen.
