[News from the News Center] On the afternoon of June 3, the appointment ceremony for the 2019 alumni work of Yanshan University was held in the academic lecture hall on the 18th floor of the Century Building. 60 graduates from 17 schools were hired as directors of the 2019 alumni work committee. Ren Jiadong, YSU Vice President, Helian Huwei, Director of the Archives and Director of the Alumni Work Office, Zhang Hongbing, Director of the Admissions and Employment Division, Cai Xingzhou, Director of the Student Affairs Office among others attended the ceremony. The meeting was hosted by Ke Tiejun, Deputy Director of the Archives and Deputy Director of the Alumni Work Office.

Helian Huawei announced the document of Yanda Alumni Office [2019] “Decision on Appointing Yanshan University 2019 Alumni Work Directors”. The participating leaders issued a letter of appointment for the appointed directors.

Gao Jiayue, a 2019 graduate of the Mechanical Engineering Department of Mechanical Engineering, expressed his gratitude on behalf of the new grade director. On behalf of the school, Ren Jiadong expressed his congratulations to the new alumni working grade directors and expressed their gratitude to the teachers who participated in and supported the alumni. He concluded the outstanding achievements of our university in the past years and affirmed the positive role of the alumni in YSU’s development. He hoped that the new grade directors would do a good job in alumni information collection; keep close contact with local alumni associations, promote alumni work in local alumni associations or alumni organizations; pay more attention to the WeChat program, visit YSU website and websites run by alumni, and attach importance to YSU’s development.
