[News from the News Center] In order to better inherit and spread our traditional culture and implement the policy of culture work made by General Secretary Xi Jinping, our university union successfully held the parent-child training camp of “Experiencing Excellent Traditional Culture and Sharing Beautiful Parent-child Time” in the multi-function hall of the faculty and staff’s activity center on the afternoon of June 16.

The activity received wide responses from our union members and their family, and nearly 30 families booked the activity. The activity provided a variety of wonderful programs which had attracted and engaged a number of kids and their family. The excavation of fossil specimens guides children to understand nature through interaction; the DIY poetry poster turns the scattered fabric into a poetic painting for the children to learn the whole process of dying. The charm of traditional Chinese poetry; in the hand-dyeing activities, everyone used hands to match the colorful colors.
The activity is to cultivate children’s hands-on ability and enhance the relationships of parents and children. It also deepens the children’s understanding of traditional culture, and is more conducive to the inheritance of Chinese traditional culture, so that the essence of Chinese culture is deeply rooted in the hearts of the people.
