[News from the News Center] On June 18-21, 2019 Annual Meeting of the College/University Library of Hebei Province was held in Tianjin. The conference was hosted by the Library and Information Work Committee of Hebei Higher Education and organized by the Hebei University of Technology Library. The heads of various university libraries and related departments in the province attended the meeting.
In the third “CNKI Cup” Hebei Provincial University Library Service Innovation Case Competition held at the meeting, the case of “One picture is worth a thousand words - the application of information map in library data interpretation” submitted by Ding Yudong of YSU Library won the first prize. The competition was hosted by the Hebei Provincial Department of Education. There were 56 projects submitted from a number of universities in the province, and 30 projects from 25 universities entered the semi-finals.

In the closing ceremony of the annual meeting, YSU Library won the award of “Eminent unit” in Hebei Province in 2018”, and four librarians were awarded “Eminent individuals”in Hebei Province in 2018”.
Over the years, our library has always been contributing to serving our teachers and students. Through a series of activities, our library effectively improved the scientific, professional and accurate library services. In the future work, the library will actively focus on the development goals proposed by our university to make due contributions to the development of distinctive, domestic first-class, world-renowned research universities.
