[News from the News Center] On June 27, Cheng Ruifang, Vice President of Hebei University of Economics and Business(HBUEB),and his delegation visited our university to conduct field research in terms of professional certification, innovation and entrepreneurship education, first-class discipline development, and the construction of “golden class”. Zhao Yongsheng, YSU Vice President, participated in the meeting along with relevant directors from School of Information Science and Engineering, the School of Environmental and Chemical Engineering, the Academic Affairs Office and the Teacher Education Development Center.

Zhao Yongsheng expressed warm welcome to the arrival of Cheng Ruifang and his delegation. He said that YSU and HBUEB have developed a good relationship of cooperation with each other. It is hoped that through this communication, we could further learn from each other in undergraduate education. Zhao Yongsheng introduced the basic situation of our university and the development of professional certification work. He mentioned that YSU took professional certification as the starting point, actively promoted the OBE teaching reform throughout the university, designed the educational plan and syllabus, raised the awareness of teaching standards, standardized teaching behavior, improved teaching methods, and enhance teaching practice. Cheng Ruifang strongly recognized our development model and achievements of the education, teaching management, professional certification, etc. He hoped to conduct in-depth exchanges and study with relevant schools in the future.
