[News from the News Center] In order to deepen the emotions and connections between alumni and their alma mater, and to seek alumni's opinions on school development and centenary celebration, on the morning of August 20, Zhao Xianfeng, YSU Party Secretary, Zhao Dingxuan, YSU President and vice president Ren Jiadong visited Zhejiang and Shanghai alumni representatives in Hangzhou. Directors from the Party Committee Office, the President's Office, the Alumni Office, the university Celebration Office, and School of Mechanical Engineering participated in the meeting.

At the meeting, Chen Xiangdong, president of the Zhejiang Alumni Association, gave a welcome speech. On behalf of the Zhejiang Alumni Association and the alumni, he warmly welcomed the leaders of the alma mater and introduced the situation of the Zhejiang Alumni Association. He said that he would strengthen the role of the alumni association and contribute to alma mater’s “Double First-class” construction. Yu Zhonghai, president of the Shanghai Alumni Association, made a special trip to Hangzhou to meet with the school leadership. He deeply reviewed the experience of studying at his alma mater, introduced the situation of the Shanghai Alumni Association serving his alma mater and alumni, and proposed constructive advice for the development of Yanshan University and the work of the 100th anniversary.
On behalf of the new leadership, Zhao Xianfeng expressed cordial greetings to the representatives of Zhejiang and Shanghai alumni. He said that the purpose of this trip is to visit alumni, and I would like to express my heartfelt gratitude to the alumni for their long-term support for the development of their alma mater.
