[News from the News Center] On the morning of August 13, the launching ceremony of the “Evidence Law Senior Teacher Seminar” was held in the Room 109 of the fourth teaching building of Yanshan University. Ren Jiadong, YSU Vice President, Zhen Hongjun, the Secretary of the Party Committee of theSchool of Humanities and Law, and Zhang Zhong, Associate Dean of the Institute of Evidence Science, China University of Political Science and Law attended the seminar. Evidence law has been listed as a second-class of core courses. In order to improve the overall quality of the Evidence Law Faculty, it is sponsored by the Law Education Professional Guidance Committee of the Ministry of Education, the Judicial Civilization Collaborative Innovation Center, the Institute of Evidence Science of China University of Political Science and Law and Yanshan University. YSUSchool of Humanities and Lawgrammar jointly hosted a five-day seminar and training, and more than 80 participants from 18 judicial practice departments of 46 universities participated in the seminar.

The seminar invited Prof. Zhang Baosheng, the joint director of the Judicial Civilization Collaborative Innovation Center, the honorary president of the Institute of Evidence Science of China University of Political Science and Law, the professor, and doctoral tutor, Prof. Zhang Zhong , the Deputy Dean of the School of Evidence Science, China University of Political Science and Law, the Evidence Law Institute Director, Professor, Doctoral Supervisor Zhang Zhong, Prof. Shi Pengpeng, the Deputy Head of the Institute of Evidence Science, China University of Political Science and Law among other academics. They had in-depth discussion on the construction of evidence law and its curriculum system, teaching content, teaching methods and other issues with the participants.
Although the weather in Qinhuangdao was affected by the typhoon, it has been rainy and windy, but the enthusiasm of teachers and students to study and research has not been affected. Some teachers of our university, including Zhang Ming, Liu Lixia, Qian Hongliang, Du Yiping, and Ma Xiang, and some Law postgraduate students and undergraduates participated in the seminar. After the training, the training committee issued a training certificate to the trainees, and the teachers and students took a group photo.
