[News from the News Center] On Aug. 27, 2019 “Maker in China” Hebei SME Innovation and Entrepreneurship Contestwas successfully concluded in Shijiazhuang. After fierce competition, YSU won the second and fourth prizes of the “Maker Group”, and four other projects won the excellent prizes.
Since the contest launched on May 29th, YSU has actively organized the project team to participate in the contest. Besides, YSU hosted the “Maker in China” promotion activities in the Eastern Hebei, and applied for the “Maker in China” special funds. A total of 30 projects entered the preliminary competition, accounting for 60% of those selected in the Qinhuangdao. Among them, the project “smart hydraulic doctor” won the second prize and will represent HebeiProvince to participate in the national finals; the project“wearable intelligent rehabilitation medical systembased on physiological signal feedback”won the third prize; four projects won the excellent awards. YSU team participated in the contestagainst high-level SMEs and Makers in Hebei Province, which further improved the practice level, enriched the experience, and demonstrated the innovation and entrepreneurship achievements of YSU.
The contest was guided by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and the Ministry of Finance, sponsored by the Hebei Department of Industry and Information Technology and the Hebei Department of Finance, and hosted by Hebnews. After several rounds of selection, 1 first prize, 2 second prizes and 3 third prizes were awarded to the projects inthe “Enterprise Group” and “Maker Group”, as well as 37 excellent prizes. The top two teams of each group were recommended to the national finals. 2019 “Maker in China” SME Innovation and Entrepreneurship Contestwas jointly organized by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and the Ministry of Finance, aiming to stimulate the potential of innovation, gather entrepreneurial resources, and create a suitable atmosphere for innovation and entrepreneurship. Besides, it is expected toprovide a platform of exchange, industry integration and project incubation for SMEs and Makers, explore and cultivate a number of outstanding projects and excellent teams, and promote new products, new technologies, new models and new formats. Furthermore, the contest will help to enhance the professionalization of SMEs, promote the transformation and upgrade of SMEs, motivatethe collaborative innovation and development of large, medium and small enterprises, and contribute to the construction of a manufacturing power and cyberpower
