[News from the News Center] On September 7, the activity initiated by the overseas returnees in the field of Biomedicine and Life Sciences—Qinhuangdao stop which was sponsored by the Organizational Department of Qinhuangdao Municipal Committee and Beijing Haichuang Talents Science and Technology Service Center, was held in Beidaihe New District. Nineteen returnees gathered in Qinhuangdao to share their scientific research achievements. Major leaders of Municipal Party Committee and Municipal Government, representatives of municipalities, counties, universities, enterprises and institutions attended the meeting to exchange views with experts. Zhao Xianfeng, YSU Party Secretary, was invited to attend the conference and made a special speech.

Zhao Xianfeng made a special speech on behalf of our university. He introduced YSU’s history, its development, characteristics, “Double-First class” construction, bioengineering specialty and the construction of training base for health-care talents. He pointed out that the development of the university cannot be separated from the support of excellent talents. Next year, YSU will usher in the centennial of its founding. The university is willing to provide a broader platform and a better environment for experts to display their talents. We sincerely welcome experts to visit and exchange with us, and to start an entrepreneurship.
