Huang Sheng delivered a speech at the meeting and welcomed the delegation from HBUWREE. He introduced the basic situation of university from the aspects of development history, major disciplines, outstanding teachers, scientific research, talent development, international exchange, social reputation, outstanding alumni, and development strategy.

The meeting in session
Du Taihang introduced the development history, disciplines, students and teachers of HBUWREE. He said that YSU's achievements and valuable experience in scientific research and platform construction are evident. HBUWREE is working hard to build an application-oriented undergraduate university with distinctive characteristics. It is hoped that the two universities will establish cooperative relations and make progress together.
Wang Jiachun, Deputy Dean of the School of Mechanical Engineering, introduced the basic situation of the School of Mechanical Engineering and theHebei Heavy Intelligent Manufacturing Equipment Technology Innovation Center. The participants from the two universities exchanged and discussed some topics including intelligent equipment manufacturing, mechanical design, material processing, operation and management of heavy-duty intelligent manufacturing equipment technology innovation center; scientific research management system, serving local economic construction, and improvement of teachers' scientific research capabilities. The meeting enhanced mutual understanding and helped learn from each other.
