[News from the News Center] From October 18-19, 2019 China Engineering Education Professional Certification Key Experts Training Conference held at YSU. The training was hosted by the China Engineering Education Professional Certification Association and co-organized by YSU. Zhou Aijun, Deputy Director of the Higher Education Teaching Evaluation Center of the Ministry of Education, Peng Jidong, Director of the Higher Education Department of the Hebei Provincial Department of Education, lecturer and counselor Li Zhiyi, Le Qinghua, Jiang Zongli, Shen Gongzhang, Hu Shengsun, Zeng zhoumo, Lv Zhiwei, and YSU Vice President Zhao Yongsheng attended the meeting. More than 130 key experts from relevant universities and units across the country attended the training meeting. In his speech, Zhao Yongsheng warmly welcomed the arrival of experts and leaders, saying that it was a grand meeting, and that thanked all the experts for their contribution to the professional certification work. He also introduced the history, basic conditions, characteristics and certification work of YSU. In his report, Zhou Aijun conducted in-depth research and judgment on the engineering education certification situation in the combination with China's many years of exploration and practice, and proposed that engineering education certification must be improved in terms of time management, technical development, and strategies.
Le Qinghua and Jiang Zongli respectively made a conference report, which comprehensively explains what the bottom line is, why the bottom line is raised, and how to meet the bottom line as well as the quality standard of output evaluation and the basis and method of output evaluation. He also emphasized that the requirements for the moral education in the in the certification work have to be strengthened. In the afternoon training session, 7 sub-meetings were conducted for the discussion of comprehensive and in-depth case analysis of output evaluation.
This meeting is aimed at some of the proposed expert leaders who have been recommended by the team leader and various certification committees. The famous certification experts are invited to comprehensively analyze the connotation, extension and implementation of the bottom line requirements, and put emphasis on output in the certification work in order to make engineering education certification a significant work.
