A total of 16 students won the 5th“YSU Duan Jingzhi Scholarship”. Among them, Xu Shijie, Jia Mengwei and Chen Wenlian won the first-prizeof scholarship; Gao Hui, Wang Yapei, He Yiwei, Zhou Yang and Wang Kaili won the second prize;Zhen Mengfan, Liu Zi, Yang Ruoxi, Li Yuanbo, Wang Xiaoqi, Tian Ye, Feng Wanyi, Qi Jiazheng won the third prize.

A total of 31 students were commended as “2019 excellent student journalists” of the News Center:Lu Jingke, Li Tongtong, Xiong Lin, Zhao Rui, Du Yaru, Zhang Bo, Li Xin, Yin Mingshuang, Zhang Yunxiao, Shi Chenya, Cui Yuxi, Wu Haojie, Liu Hongxu, Shi Yining, Mao Tianning, Yin Siyuan, Li Tianlong, Sun Qiya, Wang Kai, Shang Ruohong, Liu Ziye, Wang Zizhuo, Dou Zhang, Yan Jiaqing, Jiao Xuran, Zhang Shengrong, Lu Mengyao, Sun Mingze, Zhai Yang, Zheng Xiaoya

“YSU Duan Jingzhi Scholarship” was a special scholarshipestablished on June 12th, 2015 by Mr. Tao Yongzhong, an alumnus of 1989, whodonated 10,000 yuan to honor outstanding journalists ofYSU News Center. It is the only one special scholarship in YSU set up for student groups. “YSU Duan Jingzhi Scholarship” spends10,000 yuan each year to commend outstanding journalists who contribute to the work of the News Center of the Publicity Department of the YSU Party Committee, encouraging them to work hard, study hard and get all-rounddevelopment. From the year of 2015, Feng Zuoxiang, an alumnus 1985 in rolling steel, Chen Xiaobo, analumnus of 1987 in materials, Jiang Dawei, an alumnusof 1991 in metallography, and Liu Huaqi, an alumnusof 1999 in civil engineering, who were once the journalists of YSU News, each added 10,000 yuan to the scholarship.

At the meeting, certificates and prizes were awarded to the winners of the 4th“YSU Impression” photography exhibition. The photography exhibition was themed by “Moving” and received 1,130 photos. After review, 15 award-winning photos and 35 outstanding photos were exhibitedat hall ofthe CenturyBuilding.
