[Newsfromthe Center News] On Nov.8, the fourth session of the YSU Postgraduate Teaching-AssistanceGroup (PTAG)was set up. Xin Jiyuan, leader of the 2ndPTAGpassed the flag to Cao Zhibo, a senior student inForging and Stamping.XueChuanjia, Deputy Secretary of the YSU Committee of the Communist Youth League CYL), read out the decision on the establishment of the4thPTAG, which consists of 6 persons:Cao Zhibo, a senior student inForging and Stampingof School of Mechanical Engineering, Guo Kaiyu, a senior student in Industrial Engineering of School Of Economics and Management, Feng Zhenyue, a senior student in Law of School of Humanities and Law, Zhao Chenxi, a senior student in Chinese Language and Literature of School of Humanities and Law, Huang Pufang, a senior student in Vehicle Engineering of School of Vehicle and Energy, and Zhao Ya’nan, a senior student in Petroleum Engineering of School of Vehicle and Energy. The inauguration ceremony was presided over by Zhang Yang,Deputy Secretary of the YSU Committee of CYL.

The second PTAG completed its mission in July this year, which was once again widely praised. Chaidamu Daily, the local CPC media, reported the work of the PTAG. DelinghaChaidamu Primary School also sent a thank-you letter to YSU, in whichit expressed sincere gratitude to the volunteers for their help and support, and highly praised their performance. Zhao Xianfeng, YSU Party Secretary, and Zhao Dingxuan, YSU President gave important instructions on the work of the PTAG. Zhao Xianfeng o paid tribute to the volunteers, and hoped them to keep makinggreater achievements. Zhao Dingxuan said that their spirit was worthy of broadcast, and thatYSU would encourage more young students to join in the PTAG. Huang Sheng, YSU Deputy Secretary required that YSU Committee of the Communist Youth League implement the leader’s instructions, and arrange students to learn from the volunteers.
Since the establishment in 2016, PTAG volunteers have been working hard to improve the education in the western region. Besides, the PTAG launched the “Qing Yan Project”, whichlifts children out of poverty, and help them set up dreams and chase itthrough the “assistance + dream” model. In the past few years, each session of the PTAG has been highly praised by the service area. Wang Jianjun, Party Secretary of the Qinghai Province, and Meng Hai, Director of the Haixi Prefecture of Qinghai Province, have praised YSU PTAG volunteers in their letters, and many media at all levels of provinces, prefectures, and cities in the service areas have reported on their deeds.
After the fourth session of the PTAGwas set up, YSU Committee of the CYL is about to provide systematic training for the volunteers. Besides, in accordance with the instructionsof the leaders, the Committee will widely publicize the deeds and achievements of the PTAG among the students. It is hoped that the selfless dedication of the volunteers can leadthe students to ambition to serve the country worthily.
