[News from the News Center]The opening ceremony ofthe two exhibitions:“Classics and Inheritance - Exhibition of Excellent Sketches of Teachers and Students of the Contemporary Russian Repin Academy of Fine Arts”and“Yu Xiaodong SketchingArts- National Tour Exhibition”wereofficially held at the Yanshan University Art Museum on the morning of November 16, 2019. Theexhibition is jointly sponsored byYSUSchool of Art and Design, the Qinhuangdao City Federation of Literary and Art Circles, the Qinhuangdao Artists Association and the Art Sharing Platform. The European and American Alumni Associations provide academic support to the Russian (Soviet Union) Artists Alumni Association.

This joint exhibition exhibited 80 outstanding paintings by teachers and students of the Russian Repin Academy of Fine Arts, and exhibited 147 paintings by Xiaodong.
The Art works of renowned artists such as Repin and Fei Xin.
The exhibition
On the occasion of the 70th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Russia, the exhibition is based on theArtand education, which is meaningful forthe mutual understanding of literature and art and the community of human destiny. It is not only a literary feast, but also a rare learning opportunity for teachers, students and artists of ouruniversity.It ishopedthat the Russian Repin Academy of Fine Arts andYSUwillhave more cooperation atdeeper levelsin the future.
