Bachelor’s degreeprogram
How to apply
Ⅰ.Application prerequisites
1. Applicants must be non-Chinese citizens with a foreignpassport.
2. Applicants must have a high school certificate.
3. Applicants must bebetween 16and 60 years old.
4. Applicants must be in good health.
II. Application Proceduresand Enrollment
1. Applicants shouldsubmit the following documents to the College of International Exchange:
(a)Application form with a photograph of the applicant(download)
(b) Curriculum vitae or resume(download)
(c)Certified educational records, degree certificates ordiplomas in the original language with Chinese or English translations;
(d)Copy of applicant’s passport (the photopage)
(e)Physical examination form forforeigners (download)
(f) Academicrecord: the copy of high school transcript
(g)A photocopy of HSK-4 certificate.
(h) Two Recommendationletters from applicants’ former teachers;
(i)Application fee: 600 RMB
2. ApplicationDeadline:
Applicantsmay scan all the documents and send them to study@ysu.edu.cn by Jun. 30th.
3.Successful applicants will receive an Admission Letter and JW202 VisaApplication Form for the convenience of visa applications.Students can apply for a studentvisa at the Chinese Embassy or Consulate in their country with these documents.
4.Successful applicants must register within the time stipulated in the AdmissionLetter. Applicants who cannot register at the university on time must informCollegeofInternational Exchangein advance. Afailure to register on time will result in cancellation of candidature to studyat the university.
5.Application fee600RMBshould be paid after enrollment and arrival.
Note: Each applicant is required to providefour 2-inch photos (passport size) and six 1-inch photos when registering atthe university.
Doctoral Program
Application Prerequisites:
1. Applicants must be non-Chinesecitizens with a foreign passport and be in good health;
2. Applicants for doctoral degreeprogram must have a diploma of master’s degree or equivalent.
3. Applicants must be under theage of 45.
How to apply
1、Application Documents
（1）Application form for International students to studyat Yanshan University with a photograph of the applicant;
（2）Curriculum vitae or resume;
（3）Physical examination form for foreigners;
（4）Copy of applicant’s passport (the photo page);
（5）Certified educational records, degree certificates ordiplomas in the original language with Chinese or English translations;
（6）Applicant’s academic transcripts at graduate school (photocopy);
（7）Proof of Chinese Proficiency:
Applicants for Master’s degree inLiberal Arts: photocopy of HSK-4 with a score of 210 or higher, or HSK-5 certificateor higher;
Applicants for Master’s degree inScience and Engineering: photocopy of HSK-4 with a score of 190 or higher, orHSK-5 certificate or higher;
（8）Personal statement;
（9）Two Recommendation letters from professors orassociate professors;
（10）Application fee: 800 RMB

Applicants may scan all thedocuments and send them to study@ysu.edu.cn byApr.31th.
