YSU Hosts Summit Forum on Artificial Intelligence and Robot Theory, Technology and Application

[News from the News Center] On the morning of November 17, the Artificial Intelligence and Robot Theory, Technology and Application Summit was successfully held at YSU. Academician Chai Tianyou of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, Zhao Dingxuan, YSU President, Zhao Jiang, Chairman of the Hebei Automation Society, and experts and scholars from well-known universities such as Tsinghua University, Beijing Institute of Technology, Nankai University and Peking University participated in the forum.

Academician Chai Tianyou analyzed the development history of artificial intelligence from multi-perspectives, and described the development vision of intelligent manufacturing represented by German Industry 4.0 and the realization of process industry efficiency andenvironmentally friendly development model, which provides ideas for the majority of scientific researchers.

Professor Sun Fuchun from Tsinghua University discusses cognition from how intelligent robots can actively perceive, learn and reason about the physical world, how to interact with humans and the environment to achieve cognitive understanding. Professor Xia Yuanqing from Beijing Institute of Technology introduced the existing achievements of cloud control technology, reviewed the development of cloud control technology, and based on the latest technologies such as cloud computing, and networked control, detailed the problems in the industrial Internet and cloud control in the industry. He also put forward practical solutions to these problems.

Prof. Fang Yongchun from Nankai University reported from three directions: the snake-shaped robot, the dynamic target visual locking and the autonomous flight control of the drone, and the vision-based rotorcraft lifting system. Prof. Yu Junzhi from Peking University reported on the development of underwater unmanned submersibles and underwater bionic robots, including fish propulsion mechanism and high maneuvering bionics, dolphin modeling and bionics, underwater visual environment perception.

The forum was hosted by Hebei Automation Society and hosted by YSU. It was co-hosted by Hebei Artificial Intelligence Society, Hebei Robot Industry Innovation Alliance, Nantong Yuetong CNC Equipment Co., Ltd., CITIC Heavy Industry Kaicheng Intelligent Equipment Co., Ltd., and intelligent control system. The forum report covers the frontier direction and development trend of artificial intelligence and automation. It introduces the frontiers of artificial intelligence and robotics, technology development and application direction.
