International Exchange and Cooperation
The SEM values international academic exchanges and cooperation, and has created various exchanges and cooperative relations with a variety of universities and institutions in many countries, including Russia, the United States, Pakistan, Mongolia, India, Bangladesh, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Kazakhstan, Bolivia, Bulgaria, Nigeria, Yemen, Ghana, Cameroon, among others. The school has invited many international scholars to present lectures or engage in collaborative research with the school’s staff. Furthermore, the school has also sent some key young teachers to study at a variety of international prestigious universities. In 2011, the school launched a postgraduate program for overseas students and in 2014 a doctoral program. The SEM has various joint-education programs with well-known universities, such as the joint-education with Curtin University, Australia. 75% of the school’s students in the joint-education program have been enrolled in the top 100 universities in the world where they continue their postgraduate studies, a fact that has led to the joint-education receiving international recognition.
