[News from the News Center] Several days ago, Hebei symposium on the centenary of the May Fourth Movement as well as launching ceremony of Hebei Young Lecturer Group was held. Wang Dongfeng, Secretary of Hebei Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Standing Committee of the Hebei People’s Congress, and Xu Qin, Deputy Secretary of Hebei Provincial Party Committee and Governor of Hebei Province, attended the symposium, which was presided over by Zhao Yide, Deputy Secretary of Hebei Provincial Party Committee. Chai Yong, Deputy Dean of YSU School of Marxism, and Liu Hanyu, doctoral student from YSU School of Information Science and Engineering, attended the symposiumas members of Hebei Young Lecturer Group.

At the symposium, GuoXutao, Secretary of Hebei Provincial Committee of the Communist Youth League, announced the decision on the establishment of the Hebei Youth Lecturer Group. Chai Yong, Head of Hebei Youth Lecturer Group, took over the flag from Wang Dongfeng and spoke at the symposium on behalf of the group.

Wang Dongfeng spoke at the meeting. On behalf of Hebei Provincial Party Committee, Hebei Provincial People’s Congress Standing Committee, the Hebei Provincial Government, and Hebei Provincial People’s Political Consultative Conference, he expressed his congratulations and sincere greetings to the young people in Hebei Province and put forward requirements in detail to thoroughly study and implement the spirits of General Secretary Xi Jinping’s speech at the commemorate the 100th anniversary of the May Fourth Movement.
Hebei Youth Lecturer Group is a provincial organization established in accordance with the unified deployment of the Central Committee of the Communist Youth League to carry out in-depth study and implementation of Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era and the guidelines from the 19thNational Congress of CPC. The group mainly aims to spread the Party’s innovative theory, and tell the history of the Party, China, and the Communist Youth League, the situation and policy of Hebei Province, and the story of good examples of young people. The group consists of 100 members selected from outstanding youth from universities, institutions, enterprises and communities throughout the province and it will soon launch a series of publicity activities in the whole province.
