On April 19, the summary and commendation conference of Hebei and Beijing Organizing Committee for the 2022 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games was held in Shijiazhuang. YSU Olympic Winter Games volunteer service team won the honorary title of "Advanced Collective of Hebei in Beijing Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games"; four teachers and students, including Chan Jia, Yang Guanghui, Ma Shuang and Li Sida, won the honorary title of "Advanced Individual of Hebei in Beijing Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games". The number of people serving Beijing Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games in YSU ranks first among universities in the province. During the Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games and the preparation, YSU resolutely implemented the spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping's important instructions, the leaders commanded near the front and made careful deployment, and various departments and schools cooperated closely and worked together to build a service team covering many fields and with high comprehensive quality, long service cycle and outstanding excellent model, which has become an important service force for the Guyangshu Venue Cluster and the National Biathlon Center in Zhangjiakou competition zone and the closing ceremony of Beijing Olympic Winter Games.
The four commended teachers and students of YSU respectively served as the volunteer manager, the event service manager, the technical and business volunteer of the National Biathlon Center in Zhangjiakou competition zone and the leader of the exhibition and performance of closing ceremony of Beijing Olympic Winter Games stationed in Beijing. Since the preparation of the Olympic Winter Games, the maximum service time of individual in the front line has reached more than 400 days. They are the representatives and epitome of the vast number of people in YSU serving the Olympic Winter Games. With excellent service skills and deep feelings of home and country, they have made important contributions on behalf of YSUers to the success of this ice and snow event.
