On the morning of June 2, a delegation of six people, including Professor José Crespo de Carvalho , Chairman of the High-Level Management Education Committee of ISCTE-IUL (University Institute of Lisbon), Professor Rui Vinhas da Silva , Vice Chairman of the High-Level Management Education Committee of ISCTE-IUL, and Luo Weicheng, Secretary-General of Education Network of Franco-Asia-Pacific (ENOFAP), visited our university. Lu Jun, Director of the Office of International Cooperation, Qi Weixin, Dean of the School of Continuing Education, Zhu Hong, Deputy Director of the Office of International Cooperation, Chen Jingpu, Vice Dean of the School of Economics and Management, Associate Professor Wu Minhua, Director of the International Exchange Center of the School of Economics and Management, Professor Hu Haiju, and Associate Professor Li Chunjuan had a discussion with the foreign guests in Room 2103 of the Century Building.
Director Lu Jun warmly welcomed the visit of Professor José Crespo de Carvalho, Professor Rui Vinhas da Silva, and Secretary-General Luo Weicheng. He introduced the basic information of YSU and highlighted YSU’s achievements in international exchanges over the past few years. Wu Minhua provided an overview of the School of Economics and Management and its international development, and expressed the hope that the School of Economics and Management and ISCTE-IUL could take this opportunity to further enhance research collaboration and student and faculty exchanges.

Rui Vinhas da Silva congratulated our university on its overall academic achievements and success in international exchanges. He provided an overview of ISCTE-IUL and expressed his desire to create a platform for student and faculty exchanges between Yanshan University and Portugal. José Crespo de Carvalho expressed his hope that the exchange between the two institutions would pave the way for further elevated levels of collaboration. Luo Weicheng presented an overview of the work of ENOFAP in China and expressed the desire to support Yanshan University in establishing deeper collaborations with high-level institutions in Europe. Subsequently, both parties engaged in discussions on student and faculty exchanges, research collaboration, and joint educational programs. Chen Jingpu, on behalf of the School of Economics and Management, signed a cooperative agreement with ISCTE-IUL. After the meeting, José Crespo de Carvalho and his delegation, accompanied by Lu Jun and others, visited History Museum of Yanshan University.
ISCTE-IUL was established in 1972 and originated from the Higher Institute of Business and Labour Sciences in Portugal. It is a state-funded research university directly affiliated with the Portuguese Ministry of Science, Technology, and Higher Education, and holds EU quality certification. ISCTE-IUL is located in the Cidade Universitaria and comprises eight research centers. These centers cover a wide range of fields including economics, information and communication technology, sociology, and more.
