On the morning of September 3, Steffen Haack, CEO of Bosch Rexroth AG based in Germany, visited Yanshan University (YSU) for exchanges. At the invitation of the School of Mechanical Engineering of YSU, Dr. Haack first gave an academic report entitled "New Ways for Sustainable Fluid Power Solutions" to teachers and students of YSU in the Machinery Hall J3. In the report, Dr. Haack introduced the solutions provided by Rexroth fluid transmission technology in sustainable development from five aspects, including carbon footprint, efficiency, fluid, design, and life. He also demonstrated the current technological and research achievements of Rexroth through technical comparison and actual product parameters. Dr. Haack interacted with the students and answered their questions in detail.

After the report, Dr. Haack and his party and the faculty representatives of the Department of Mechanical and Electrical Control Engineering held a cooperation agreement signing ceremony in Machinery Hall 301. Professor Ai Chao presided over the ceremony. Kong Xiangdong, chief professor of the Department of Mechanical and Electrical Control Engineering, delivered a speech on behalf of the department. In his speech, Professor Kong gave a brief review of the cooperation between YSU and Bosch Rexroth and of the disciplinary advantages of the Department of Mechanical and Electrical Control Engineering. He expressed a warm welcome and gratitude to Dr. Haack for his visit and cooperation. Dr. Haack highly affirmed the achievements made by YSU in the research and teaching of fluid transmission technology and expressed hopes to take this visit as an opportunity to further strengthen the cooperation between Rexroth and universities.
