Speaker Introduction:
Prof. Chao Haojian, a resident tenor singer and vocal educator in Argentina, a former vocal professor and master tutor in the music department of the People’s Liberation Army Art Academy and a tutor of vocal masters at Shandong University. He graduated from the Shanghai Conservatory of Music and studied under Prof. Xie Shaozeng. In May 1982, he co-operated with Kurt Adler, the Dean of the San Francisco Opera House in Shanghai, and acted in the French opera “Faust” as leading actor. In 1990, he was admitted to the Conservatory of Music in Cologne, Argentina, one of the top ten opera institutions in the world. He graduated with honors in 1993 and was appointed as a professor of vocal music by the Cordoba Conservatory of Music in Argentina in the same year. After returning to China in 1997, he trained some outstanding singers such as Wang Hongwei, Yang Yang, Zhang Bo, Hao Liangliang, Yuan Xiaoqun, Yin Hai, Liu Yujun among others.
The lectures focus on “sounding techniques for vocal music”, “the use of breathing”, “the use of sound-changing technology, etc., and will comprehensively analyze the sounding principles and techniques of vocal performance art.
