Speaker Introduction:
Dr. Zhu Xiaodong is an Associate professor and doctoral supervisor of Harbin Institute of Technology. He is a member of editorial committee of Functional Materials, special editorial board of Journal of Petrochemical Universities, senior member of China Electronics Society, member of China Chemical Society, Correspondence Expert of National Natural Science Foundation of China. Dr. Zhu mainly engaged in research on new green energy, special chemical power sources and new multi-dimensional multi-functional nano-hybrid materials. He presided over several projects funded by National Natural Science Foundation of China (4 projects), the Doctoral Fund of the Ministry of Education, the Natural Science Foundation of Heilongjiang Province (2 items) respectively among other projects such as the First Class Fund of China Postdoctoral Science Foundation and the Special Funding, projects of State Key Laboratory of Urban Water Resources and Water Environment.
In 2010, he won the first prize of the Natural Science category of the Heilongjiang Provincial Science and Technology Award. He had 55 SCI indexed papers published in prestigious journals such as Advanced Functional Materials, Nano Energy, Small, Journal of Materials Chemistry A, Carbon, Chemical Communications, Advanced Sustainable Systems, Journal of Power Sources. Seven patent applications have been filed and five have been authorized.
