【News from News Center】On Mar. 1st, Prof. Geoff Layer, President of University of Wolverhampton;Mr. Bob Zhang, the UK foreign affair official to China;Mr. Kevin Bond, President of Education for China Ltd. (EFC);Ms. Qinghua Guo, executive director of EFC;and Ms. Lingna Zhao, General Manager of EFC visited YSU. YSU President Hongmin Liu and Vice President Fucheng Zhang welcomed the guests and had a conference with them, as well as leaders of International Cooperation Division, Graduate School, Office of Academic Affairs, and School of Arts and Design.

At the conference, YSU Vice President Fucheng Zhang, on behalf of YSU, welcomed the guests, introduced YSU and the internalization of YSU, and expressed his wishes to cooperate with University of Wolverhampton in terms of student exchange, faculty exchange and faculty training programs. President Geoff Layer introduced University of Wolverhampton and expressed his wishes to cooperate extensively with YSU.

President Hongmin Liu and President Geoff Layer signed a memorandum of cooperation on behalf of the two universities, which means both sides will carry out substantive cooperation in scientific research, joint-education, faculty communication, communications in terms of publications, arts and science, and academic conferences. After that, the guests visited School of Arts and Design. According to the plan of faculty communication, some YSU teacher are visiting University of Wolverhampton as exchange scholars in the spring semester.

The fifth largest public University in the UK, it is one of the first universities of the UK that accept the mutual recognition of diploma agreement with China.
