[News from News Center] On Sep. 21, YSU signed a comprehensive strategic cooperation agreement with Ruijie Networks Co., Ltd (to be referred to as Ruijie). The two parties will carry out cooperation in fields of cutting-edge technology and research of educational informationization, achievement-sharing, application practice, infrastructure construction, and joint talent training.
At 9:30, YSU President Hongmin Liu, Vice President Xiangdong Kong and Sheng Huang had a meeting with Ruijie Vice President BingFeng, Chief Inspector of University System Department Yang Mi, General Manager of Hebei Office Bin Jia, Chief Inspector of Data Center Business Department, and Vice President of Whistle Business Department Ming Li at 1902, the Century Building. The two parties exchanged opinions on trends of IT industry, and application prospect of cutting-edge informationization technology in university education reform and talent training as well as application scenarios of big data analysis in university education and delicacy management. After the meeting, guests from Ruijie visited university student Innovation and Entrepreneurship Bases--- Yanxiang Fleet and Zhongchuang Zone of Liren College.

The signing ceremony was held at 11:00 at Activity Center, East Campus. Sheng Huang, Bing Feng and relevant directors of Ruijie attended the ceremony as well as directors of YSU committee of Communist Youth League, Student Affairs Office, Information Technology Center, Archives Center, University Science Center, and teacher and student representatives. Secretary General of YSU Education Foundation Honglei Sun hosted the ceremony.

Sheng Huang introduced the development of YSU, and reviewed the university-enterprise cooperation in recent years. He said that YSU has been cooperating with Ruijie for 15 years and was honored to be an “Angel Client” after Huazhong University of Science and Technology, Nankai University and Fuzhou University. He extended gratitude to Ruijie for their donation of 1 million worth of products to construct YSU into a digital campus. He hoped that the cooperation would be deepened in the future.

Bing Feng introduced Ruijie, including: its organizational structure, R&D and innovation capability, and its cooperation with universities. He said that, YSU, as a national key university and a Double First-rate university supported by Hebei Province with rich cultural heritage, is famous in fields of scientific research, talent training and engineering practice. The cooperation between YSU and Ruijie would set up a model of industry-university-research cooperation in the industry. The two parties will continue to promote exchange and cooperation in fields of cutting-edge technology and research of educational informationization, achievement sharing, application practice, infrastructure construction, and joint talent training.
