YSU Held “Celebrate the 19th CPC National Congress” Chinese Traditional Culture Works Exhibition

[News from News Center] On Oct.17^th, the “Celebrate the 19^thCPC National Congress” Chinese Traditional Culture Works Exhibition was started at the hall of Student Activity Center, East Campus. YSU Party Secretary Weidong Meng visited the Exhibition as well as some teachers and students.

The Exhibition aims to strengthen the education of Chinese traditional culture under the new situation, and celebrate the success of the 19^thCPC National Congress. Over 180 works created by YSU faculty and students were exhibited, categories including Chinese paper cutting, kite, calligraphy, shadow puppet, facial makeup, Chinese seal, cross stitch.

From May 15^ththis year, the Chinese Traditional Culture Works Competition began to solicit works among all faculty and students. After one month, numerous works in many categories were collected, including: Calligraphy & Painting, Folk Custom & Handicraft, and New Media Art works. The Exhibition time is from Oct. 17^thto 24^th.

The Exhibition is sponsored by Publicity Department under CPC YSU Committee and Communist Youth League YSU Committee, CPC YSU School of Maxim Committee, and CPC School of Electrical Engineering Committee.
