YSU is the highest ranked university of Hebei Province in these national university rankings.
“2018-2019 China Undergraduate-university Competitiveness Overall Rankings” is an official report — “China University and Discipline Professional Evaluation Report (2018)” which is released by a joint venture of Wuhan University’s China Scientific Evaluation Research Institution, China Education Quality Evaluation Center, and China Science and Education Evaluation Network, which aimed to discover which Chinese universities have demonstrated the greatest achievements in the fields evaluated across the broadest range of activity. The evaluation encompasses 2621 Chinese mainland higher educational institutions, among which are 973 undergraduate-universities.
This is the 15thannual report of China’s university and discipline professional evaluation rankings since the establishment of this evaluation institution in 2004. In the evaluation of this year, some relevant indexes of “Double-FirstClass”programwere considered and added to the evaluation system, which indicated that the sources of data are more extensive and more representative.
