[News from the News Center]The second "Sen Teng Cup" Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei University Russian Competition was held at Hebei Normal University from April 20 to April 22. The Russian Department of School of Foreign Studies, YSU sent 4 students to participate in the competitions for the senior and junior group respectively. After the written test in preliminary competition and the oral examination in second-round competition, Wang Baoquan from senior class won the first prize in the Russian speech. Wang Jijie and He Yuan from junior class won the third prize. Li Jin won the third prize in senior class. Leading teacher Liu Bingshan won the Outstanding Teacher Award.

According to reports, 72 contestants from 18 universities and colleges in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region participated in the contest. The judging panel of the contest consisted of Russian-speaking experts and scholars from several universities and colleges including Peking University.
