[News from the News Center] On Apr. 15th, the 7thAll China Interpreting Contest (ACIC) quarter-final of Hebei Province was held at School of Foreign Languages, Hebei Normal University. Wang Sai, senior in English, and Xu Huizi, junior in English won the second awards; Jin Yaoyao, junior in English, Hao Jinming, fresh graduate in translation, Xing Tong, senior in English, and Li Zongyue, junior in English, the third awards; Zhang Yanbin and Zhang Ying, the awards for Excellent Instructors.

Sponsored by Translators Association of China and held by Language Service Competence Assessment and Training, the quarter-final contest involved 73 contestants from 14 universities and colleges in Hebei Province.
School of Foreign Studies has long focused on student training and improving students’ competence. Since entering into ACIC in 2015, School of Foreign Studies has won many awards, which is of great significance in promoting innovative education, interpretation project teaching and the construction of translation discipline.
